'Lifewater' Project in Uganda

ACTS (Africa Community Technical Service) is a non-profit organization working with rural East African communities to provide safe, clean water. ACTS developed a project called ‘Lifewater’ located in Ntungamo District in western Uganda, which now supplies clean drinking water to thousands of Ugandan people. 

For over 5 years, ColiPlate Water Testing Kits have been used by ACTS volunteers and the local residents themselves to screen drinking water for E. coli so that the safety of the drinking water is ensured.
