Lake Association Monitoring

Our ColiPlate™ water testing system has been a popular choice amongst Lake and Cottage Associations who run volunteer water monitoring programs.  Coliplate™ test kits are ideal for these community-based monitoring programs as these kits are user-friendly, may be used by inexperienced/non-technical individuals and can be employed in remote areas as they do not require laboratory facilities, enabling results to be reported in a timely manner.

Over 30 Lake associations in various lakeshore communities within the Great Lakes of Canada and the U.S.A. now use Coliplate™ test kits to assess bacteriological surface water quality and have established independent, volunteer-based water quality monitoring programs on their lakes or river systems.  These monitoring programs have successfully been implemented in these regions for over 10 years now.
