Environment Canada Research (PDF report)

For over 10 years scientists and researchers within various departments of the Government of Canada have been using the ColiPlate™ water testing system.  Environment Canada has developed a number of research programs which use our ColiPlate test kits to monitor and assess the bacteriological quality of beaches throughout the Canadian Great Lakes system. 

Most recently Environment Canada conducted a study (using the ColiPlate™ system) on the presence of E. coli in beach sand and subsequent water quality, in an attempt to provide insight for beach management protocols and public safety at beaches (please see PDF report).
